I am an epilepsy advocate/counselor and have been since 1995. I host two of the only chat
rooms for epilepsy online and have counseled well over sixteen hundred people worldwide. I enjoy gardening, canning,
writing and spending time with my family and my poodle.
My name is Lisa-Marie Kinsman and I have just completed
my autobiography called "Free at Last, My Lifetime Battle to Overcome Epilepsy". I began writing it over fifteen
years ago after moving from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania. My reason for writing my book was mainly for a release and for
therapeutic reasons. But the further along I got with my book, and the more life altering experiences I endured, the
more determined I was to tell the world my story on my life with epilepsy.
I have been through more life altering experiences, job
discrimination, being molested by one of my doctors, and more medical issues and tests than any human being should have to
endure in a lifetime.
What's New?
Here I might add an entry whenever I make an update to my web site. Where appropriate, I'll include a link to the
change. For example:
My autobiography is now in the process
of being published by PublishAmerica. I will post a note on this website as to exactly when it will be available for
purchase and will also include all of the website links as to where it can be purchased. Everyone should own a copy
of my book. There are roughly 55 million people worldwide who are affliced with epilepsy, 3 million in the U.S. alone.
